As part of our project 18591km launched on November 9, 2014, which strive to raise awareness about the walls still standing around the world and like the former Berlin Wall, create unique realities and cause segregation, we want to invite you to think through these physical walls and the other invisible ones, that frustrate us, limit us and tear us apart from the long awaited freedom and equality.
REGISTRATION
– No participation fee
– The registration is performed via email to the following address: 18591km@gmx.de and the period will be open until April 30, 2015. It is required to provide the additional information: name (pseudonym – artistic name), telephone number, e- mail and a brief portfolio of work.
– Enrolled artists must submit a work proposal until May 30, 2015.
– The artwork submission deadline is at the end of July 2015
– The selected works will be part of the 18.591Km exhibition to be held in the middle of October 2015 in Berlin
SPECIFICATIONS
– The call is open to artists of all nationalities and styles. The inscriptions can be individual or as an art collective.
– For participation is essential, the submission of the artwork for the review as well as its availability to prepare the installation and during the exhibition.
– The work will become property of the organization until the exhibition is completely dismantled.
– The call is open to all artistic genres, including: photography, painting, drawing, print, visual poetry, musical composition, dance and installations.
ARTWORK DROP OFF
Artworks should be submitted accompanied by the following information:
– Name or pseudonym (if applicable).
– Technical details: title of the work, dimensions, technique and price.
– Address, mail and telephone contact.
NOTIFICATIONS
The definitive list of artists will be announced one week after the proposal submission and will be public on the organization website: www.18591km.org. The organization reserves the right to use any selected work for the promotion of the event, so that participation will involve the transfer of rights throughout the entire duration of the exhibition and afterwards, in case of subsequent publications.
EXHIBITION
The organizers reserve the right not to exhibit works if it does not match the philosophy of the project, and expose it on the way that suits the purpose of the exhibition.
The cost of organizing the event will be born by the organization. According to prior agreement with the artists, all artwork in the exhibition will be available for sale. The organization will be responsible for the financial transaction derived from the sale. A percentage of the sale price, to agree with the artist, will be donate to the organization, 18591km, in order to finance future operations.
RETURN OF ARTWORK
Once the exhibition reaches its end, all pieces remained unsold will be available to the authors. The artists must pick up their entries, latest three days after the end of the exhibition. Artworks not picked up by then, can become the property of 18591km.
Any cost arising from the artworks return will be assumed by the artist.
PRIVACY POLICY
The data provided by the participants will be collected and stored in a database subject to regulation on personal data protection.

En el marco de nuestro proyecto 18591km, impulsado el 9 Noviembre de 2014, que busca sensibilizar a la sociedad sobre la existencia de los muros que todavía siguen en pie alrededor del mundo, y que como el de Berlín crean realidades singulares y provocan la segregación en los pueblos, queremos invitaros a hacer una reflexión sobre estos muros físicos y los otros, que aunque invisibles nos frustran, limitan, vejan y nos separan de la tan ansiada libertad e igualdad.
CONDICIONES
– No hay cuota de participación
– La inscripción se realizará vía correo eléctronico a la siguiente dirección: 18591km@gmx.de y el plazo está abierto hasta el 30 de Abril de 2015. La información a proporcionar es: nombre del artista/nombre artístico, teléfono de contacto, e-mail , modalidad artística y portfolio.
– Los artistas inscritos deberán entregar una propuesta de la obra hasta el 30 de Mayo de 2015
– El plazo límite para entregar las obras será a finales de Julio de 2015
– Las obras seleccionadas formarán parte de la exposición 18.591Km que tendrá lugar a mediados de Octubre de 2015.
BASES
– La convocatoria está abierta a artistas de todas las nacionalidades y estilos.
– Para la participación es imprescindible, tanto la presentación de la pieza original en el visionado de obras, como la disponibilidad de la misma para la fecha del montaje y exposición.
– La obra quedará, en propiedad de la organización hasta finalizar el desmontaje de la exposición.
SOPORTE DE LAS OBRAS
– La convocatoria está abierta a todos los medios, soportes y géneros artísticos, incluyendo, entre otros, los siguientes: fotografía, pintura, dibujo, impresión, poesía visual, composición musical, danza e instalaciones.
PRESENTACIÓN DE OBRAS
Todas las obras deberán entregarse acompañadas de la siguiente información de cada artista o colectivo:
– Nombre completo, nombre artístico (en su caso).
– Ficha técnica: título de la obra, dimensiones, técnica utilizada y precio.
– Dirección, mail y teléfono de contacto.
NOTIFICACIONES
La lista con los artistas definitivos se dará a conocer una semana después de la entrega de propuestas y se hará pública en la web: 18591km.org. La organización se reserva el derecho de utilizar cualquier trabajo seleccionado, para la promoción del evento en publicaciones disponibles o cualquier otro medio, por lo que la participación supondrá la cesión de derechos de uso de la obra para los fines de la exposición y su promoción durante el tiempo que dure la misma, y en caso de publicaciones posteriores.
EXPOSICIÓN
La organización se reserva el derecho de no exponer las obras si no coinciden con la finalidad del proyecto, y exponerlas de la forma, aunque concertada, que más se ajuste al objetivo de la exposición.
Los gastos de organización de la exposición correrán por cuenta de la organización. En función de la voluntad del artista la obra será sometidas a la venta al público, siendo la transacción económica responsabilidad directa entre la organización y el comprador. Un porcentaje de los ingresos obtenidos, a acordar con el artista, por la venta de las obras de arte serán destinados en forma de donativo a la organización, 18591km, con el objetivo de financiar acciones futuras.
DEVOLUCIÓN DE LAS PIEZAS
Una vez finalizada la exposición todas las piezas no vendidas estarán a disposición de los autores. Los artistas participantes deberán retirar sus obras hasta tres días después como plazo improrrogable.
Los gastos de retorno de la obra presentada correrán por cuenta del artista o colectivo.
POLÍTICA DE PROTECCIÓN DE DATOS
Los datos cedidos por los participantes serán incorporados a un fichero sujetos a la normativa vigente en temas de Protección de Datos de Carácter Personal.

Wir möchten euch dazu einladen, an unserem Projekt 18591 km teilzunehmen. Das Projekt wurde am 9. November 2014 in Berlin ins Leben gerufen, allerdings nicht mit dem Ziel, die gefallene Berliner Mauer zu feiern, sondern um darauf aufmerksam zu machen, dass viele Mauern noch stehen und weltweit zahlreiche Mauern weiter ausgebaut werden.
Unser Projekt soll Rahmen dafür bieten, sich ganz individuell mit dem Thema „Mauern“ auseinanderzusetzen: sowohl mit physischen Mauern, als auch mit den mentalen Mauern, die gleichermaßen trennen, dividieren, Menschen ausschließen und Freiheit verhindern.
REGISTRIERUNG
Es gibt keine Teilnahmegebühren
– Die Anmeldung erfolg über email unter folgender Adresse: 18591km@gmx.de und ist bis zum 30. April 2015 möglich. Dafür sind folgende Informationen nötig: Name (Pseudonym oder Klünstlername), Telefonnummer, Email und ein kleines Portfolio mit Arbeiten.
– Teilnehmende Künstler müssen bis zum 30. Mai 2015 ein Konzept vorstellen.
– Die Kunst-Abgabe muß bis Ende Juli 2015 erfolgen.
– Die Ausgewählten Kunstwerke werden Teil der 18.591 Km Kunstausstellung sein, die im August 2015 in Berlin stattfindet.
SPEZIFIKATIONEN
Dieser Aufruf an alle Künstler ist für Menschen aller Nationen und Stilrichtungen. Die Teilnahme kann als Individuum oder als Kollektiv getätigt werden.
– Für die Teilnahme ist es wichtig dass das Kunstwerk oder die Installation rechtzeitig zur Verfügung steht um revidiert und für die Ausstellung aufgebaut werden kann.
– Die abgegebene Arbeit bleibt Eigentum der Organisation, bis zum Zeitpunkt des Abbaus derselben.
– Dieser Aufruf ist offen für alle künstlerischen Genres, z.B. Fotographie, Malerei, Zeichnen, Druck, Visuelle Poesie, Musik, Tanz und Installation.
ABGABE DER KUNST
Die Kunstwerke müssen mit folgenden Informationen Abgegeben werden:
– Name oder Pseudonym des Künstlers.
– Technische Informationen: Titel, Dimensionen, genutzte Technik / Medium und Preis (Wenn es zum Verkauf stehen soll).
– Adresse, Email und Telefonnummer.
BENACHRICHTIGUNG
Die endgültige Liste der teilnehmenden Künstler wird eine Woche nach nach dem Abgabetermin auf der Webseite der Organisation www.18591km.org veröffentlicht. 18.591 Km behält sich das recht vor die abgegebene Kunst für Promotionszwecke für diesen Event zu verwenden. Während der Ausstellung liegen sämtliche Bildrechte bei der Organisation, und danach für folgende Publikationen.
AUSSTELLUNG
Die Organisatoren behalten sich das Recht vor ein Kunstwerk nicht auszustellen wenn es nicht in die Philosophie oder Ausstellungskonzept passt, des weiteren das Recht es während der Ausstellung auf die Art auszustellen auf der es dem Event am dienlichsten ist. Die Kosten für diesen Event werden von den Organisatoren getragen. Nach vorheriger Absprache und Übereinkunft kann ein Kunstwerk während der Ausstellung zum Verkauf stehen. Die Organisatoren sind verantwortlich für die finanzielle Abwicklung des Verkaufes. Ein vorher festgelegter Prozentsatz geht als Kommission an die Organisatoren und dient der Realisierung zukünftiger Projekte für 18.591 Km.
RÜCKGABE DER KUNSTWERKE
Wenn die Ausstellung zu Ende geht stehen alle unverkauften Exponate den jeweiligen Künstlern wieder zur Verfügung. Die Künstler sind für die Rücknahme selbst Verantwortlich und diese sollte 3 Tage nach der Ausstellung erfolgen. Andernfalls gehen sie in den Besitz von 18.591 Km über. Alle Kosten die durch die Rückgabe entstehen sind vom Künstler zu tragen.
PRIVATSSPHÄRE
Alle Angaben der Teilnehmer werden in einer Datenbank aufgenommen und unterliegen dem persönlichen Datenschutz.
